Johnny “Billy” Elbert Sellers, age 77 of Chadbourn, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Billy was born on February 4, 1944, to the late Cordelia and Shula Sellers. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Shula Wayne Sellers, Jospeh Benjamin “Joe” Sellers, William Troy “Tommy” Sellers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18th, 2021, at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn with Reverend James Howard Nobles officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm -1:45 p.m., prior to the service.
Survivors include his four children: Paula Thompson of Chadbourn, Cheryl Sanchez of Fairmont, Jamie S. Ward (Richard) of Chadbourn, and David A. Sellers (Brittaney) of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Michael Thompson (Megan), Justin Thompson (Selena), Zachary Thompson, Jonathan Floyd, Madison Priest (Benjamin); great-grandchildren, Trenton Thomspon, Tenley Thompson, Alexandria Bryant, and Hazelynn Priest
