March 8, 1942 ~ November 18, 2021 (age 79)
Kenneth R. Meeks, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Hospital. Kenneth leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Rita C. Meeks of the home; son, Michael Mark Meeks of Indiana; brothers: Charles Meeks and Michael Morgan.
Kenneth retired from the US Air Force after 30 years of a devoted and impressive career. He retired in 1990 as a Command Chief Master Sergeant. CMSgt Kenneth R Meeks was a real patriot! Kenneth was a member of Lennon’s Crossroads Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
The family will receive friends at 1pm on Tuesday, November 23rd at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. John Cobb officiating.
