Mr. Larry Worth Hunt, 62 of Fairmont, passed away on Friday November 5, 2021 at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton. Larry was the son of Mr. William Hunt and the late Mrs. Isabel Hunt.
He was born and raised in Robeson County, attended school and lived there all his life. Larry like a quiet spell around his favorite fishing pond, attending events with family and loved playing around with his grandchildren. Larry was kind and good although he did things his way. He worked as a farm day laborer until his health prohibited him from doing so.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother Isabel Hunt, and one brother James Hunt.
Larry is survived by his father William Hunt of Fairmont, three daughters; Sue Oxendine (Willie) of Lumberton, Shelly Locklear (Damon) of White Oak, and Rosemary Hunt Byrd (JR) of Lumberton; six grandchildren; Issac Jacobs, Shawn Logan, Christal Logan, Bryan Locklear, Candice Locklear, Shyann Chavis; two brothers; Terry Hunt and William Hunt both of Fairmont; one sister; Linda Hunt of Fairmont. He is also survived by a very close friend of many years, Ms. Joyce Lowery, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
