Blanchie Moore Hinson, age 84, of the Buckhead Community of Bolton, died Sunday, December 19, 2021 in Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville. She was born April 1, 1937 in Columbus County, NC to the late Andrew James and Florie Ethel Freeman Moore and the widow of James Fredrick Hinson. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Moore.
She is survived by her brothers, James Vance Moore and his wife Arlene and William Moore and his wife Brenda, her sister, Margaret Spaulding and her husband William, her sister-in-law, Emma Moore all of the Buckhead Community, as well as nieces and nephews.
Blanchie attended and graduated from Southeastern Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing and worked as a registered nurse.
Her funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Jacobs and Rev. Mike Jacobs with burial to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Patrick, Darren Freeman, Winda Patrick, Henry Jacobs, Elton Ray Jacobs, Sr. and Kenny Patrick.
The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service in the church.
