A fight between brothers ended with a trip to the hospital for one and jail for the other.
Johnathan Spivey, 30, of Hickory Hill Road, Chadbourn, allegedly stabbed his brother John, 31, in the chest during an argument on Christmas Eve.
The fight took place in Sandy Acres mobile home park between Whiteville and Chadbourn. The suspect was held under $75,000 secured bond, charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
The investigative report said the two men are brothers.
