12/13/21: LATE EDITION 

NFL: The 8-4 Los Angeles Rams, head into the 10-2 Cardinals nest this evening for the Monday Night game. If you are a football fan, you had to enjoy last night’s matchup. Tampa Bay wins it in walk-off fashion as Tom Brady connects with Breshard Perriman on a 58-yard touchdown pass in overtime. Tom Brady once again showed why he is the GOAT with 31/46 attempts, 363 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brady also had a QBR of 105.6. 

Carolina lost to the Falcons 29-21. Week 15 brings the Panthers to Buffalo, who is coming off that tough loss the Tom Brady and the Buc’s. 

NBA: Brooklyn Nets player Kevin Durant was fined $25,000 for “Obscene language” towards a fan on Saturday after being heckled on an inbound pass during the game. In other news around the NBA, Zion Williamson has had a set-back in his foot surgery rehabilitation. Zion might not be back this season. According to the latest NBA reports, The New Orleans Pelican’s do not plan to sign Williamson’s rookie contract extension. They are unhappy with his work outs and concerned about his off-court activity. 

The 13-10 Charlotte Hornets are in Dallas tonight to take on the 10-10 Maverick’s. Dallas will be without their superstar, Luka Doncic, side-lined with a left ankle injury. Tip-ff is 8pm in Dallas. 

NHL:  Hurricane’s fall 2-1 in Vancouver last night. Carolina is 19-7-1 on the season, travel to Minnesota to take on the Wild. The Hurricanes are back home Thursday as they host the Detroit Redwings. The puck drops at 7pm. 

NCAA: College football “Bowl Season” is here. Bowl games kick-off December 13, 2021, and continue through January 10, 2022, wrapping it up with the 2022 College Football Playoffs National Championship. This year’s championship is being played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis at 8pm on ESPN. 

In hoops action, the 6-2 Tarheels face off against the 7-3 Furman squad tomorrow night on ESPN2 at 7pm. The Blue Devils are also back in action tomorrow night. Duke, 7-1, will host the 3-7 South Carolina State Bulldogs. This game is on the ACC Network with coverage starting at 8pm.
