Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Elliott, Sr., 71, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at home with his family by his side. Born August 6, 1950 in Gaffney, SC, son of Herbert and Margaret Jeanette (Painter) Elliott.
Survivors include his wife, Althea Singletary Elliott of the home; son, Kenny (Karen) Elliott, Jr. of Stedman, NC; daughter, Marsha (Patrick) Gaines of Fayetteville, NC; his mother, Margaret Jeanette Elliott of Fayetteville; sister, Pam (Steve) Sparks of Greensboro, NC; step daughter, Pam (Paul) Perdue of Chesapeake, VA; step son, Johnnie (Joyce) Hartman of Chesapeake; and grandchildren, Ryan, Kaleb, Emma, Hunter, Chet, Steven, Luke, Madeline, Kate, Ashlyn, Mia, and Mallory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Elliott and his former wife, Connie (Sills) Elliott.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 17 at Dulah Missionary Baptist Church in Tabor City, with Rev. Kyle Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service in the church.
