When it comes to High school football in the area, everyone has heard the names of Daejuan Thompson and Brandon Tyson of the Whiteville Wolfpack. Both these smart and talented athletes have signed their National Letter of Intent to play football this upcoming season.
2021 North Carolina Shrine Bowl pick, Daejuan Thompson, signed with North Carolina State. With this move Thompson joins another Wolfpack, as a member of NC State in the ACC.
Brandon Tyson is the 2021 Waccamaw Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He also has made a big decision. Brandon is committing and making plans to attend Division 1, Elon University.
