Increasing violence by youth and especially gangs will be the topic at a public forum sponsored by the sheriff’s office Dec. 16.
The call to action forum will feature discussions on youth violence, the root causes and solutions. Representatives from law enforcement and the courts, local government, education and religious organizations will attend, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
The forum will be held at Southeastern Community College in the auditorium starting at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to participate.
