NFL:  Wildcard Weekend: 

Raiders lost to the Bengals 26-19 

Bills beat the Patriots 47-17.  

Today:  Eagles travel to Tampa Bay 1pm FOX 

49ers versus the Cowboys 4:30pm CBS 

Steelers at the Chiefs 8:15pm NBC 

Monday:  Cardinals versus the Rams 8:15pm ESPN: First time there will be a Wild-Card game on a Monday night.

NBA:  Last Night’s Action

The Hornets are back in action tomorrow afternoon in Madison Square Garden, at 1pm, against the Knicks. 

Raptors beat the Bucks 103-96 

Wizards lost to the Trail Blazers 110-105 

Knicks over the Hawks 117-108 

Pelicans fall to the Nets 120-105, Kevin Durant expected to miss 4-6 weeks with sprained MCL. 

The Cavaliers beat the Thunder 107-102

Nuggets beat the Lakers 133-96; 25 points and 9 rebounds for LeBron James. Nikola Jokic scored a triple-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Bones Hyland had a double-double, led all scorers and the Nuggets, with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

NHL: Yesterday’s Scores

Carolina won its twenty-fifth game of the season and beat the Canucks 4-1. Sabastian Aho, Vincent Trocheck, Steven Lorentz, and Martin Necas all score goals for the Panthers. Frederik Anderson was in net and stopped 31 shots on goal. Carolina is in Boston to face the Bruins on Tuesday night at 8pm. 

Predators beat the Bruins 4-3 in overtime 

Capitals over the Islanders 2-0 

Panthers take down the Blue Jackets 9-2 

Rangers defeat the Flyers 3-2 

Blues fall to the Maple Leafs 6-5 

Lightning beat the Stars 3-1 

The Red Wings shut-out the Sabres 4-0 

Ducks blank the Blackhawks 3-0 

Avalanche travel to Phoenix and shut-out the Coyotes 5-0 

Kings beat the Kraken 3-1 

Oilers lost to the Senators 6-4 

Penguins over the Sharks 2-1 in overtime 

Games postponed yesterday, Golden Knights at Flames, Senators versus the Jets, and the Devils at the Canadiens. Today’s game postponed is the Oilers at the Jets.

NCAA Men’s Basketball:  Number one ranked Baylor loses its second game in a row, and its second game of the season against Oklahoma State 61-54. 

UTSA lost to Charlotte 62-53 

USC Upstate 76-73 over UNC Ashville 

UNC Greensboro falls to Mercer 58-49 

North Carolina State lost to Duke 88-73. Paolo Banchero led the Blue Devils with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Mark Williams puts in a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Trevor Keels finishes with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists 

Wofford beat Western Carolina 84-64 

Coastal Carolina lost 84-76 to Appalachian State in overtime 

Towson beat Elon 59-54 

Memphis lost 72-72 to Eastern Carolina 

Wake Forrest travels to Virginia and wins 63-55. Jake LaRavia scores 15 points for the Deamon Deacons. Alondes Williams makes his mark on the game with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. 

78-71 the North Carolina A & T Aggies lost to High Point  

The North Carolina Tar Heels defeat Georgia Tech 88-65. Armando Bacot has a double-double and leads the Tar Heels 29 points and 12 rebounds. RJ Davis had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. 

North Carolina Central versus South Carolina State is postponed.
