Steve Elgin Edwards age 67 of Chadbourn passed on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Williamsons Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Elgie Edwards.
Steve is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen Jean Regan Edwards of the home; a son Matthew “Matt” R. Edwards of Chadbourn; and his mother, Carro Donsal Batten Edwards of Chadbourn; and several cousins.
