The moment has come and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been given the solemn duty to announce, that Mrs. Irene Spaulding Carter is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but she is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Mrs. Carter began her life of everlasting peace on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville, NC.
The Services honoring Mrs. Carter legacy will begin with hours of visiting on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 between the hours of 3pm and 5pm in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment in Elizabethtown, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Mrs. Carter while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. On Thursday, March 3, 2022 commencing at 1:30pm, a Loving Farewell Graveside Ceremony will take place in the Mitchell Field Cemetery in Clarkton, NC. The Bible teaches us that the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak, therefore every person that steps through the threshold on that day to support this heartbroken family, will take a piece of the load from Mrs. Irene’s children and loved ones, therefore helping them begin to heal.
Left to cherish her memories are her four children: Marcella Tobias, Beverly Carter, Timothy Carter and Jeffery Spaulding; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Alma Spaulding and Betty Ann Smith; four brothers: Rudolph Spaulding, Foster Spaulding, David Spaulding, Jonathan Spaulding and a host of other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at 346 Carver Moore Rd., Lake Waccamaw, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
