Judy Elaine Ortega, age 70 of Shallotte, passed away peacefully during the morning hours on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, with family by her side.
Judy was born on April 11, 1951, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Jack Watson Roach and Mable Viola Benton Roach.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Judy was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served for 6 years.
Survivors include her children, Tara O. Wolf (Andy) of Jacksonville, FL, Marcus V. Ortega of Shallotte; siblings, Glena R. Stutts (John) of Mooresville, Jack Keith Roach (Debbie) of Shallotte, Ronald S. Roach (Patsy) of Holden Beach, NC; grandchild, Zaveria Wolf, and many loving nieces and nephews.
