MLB: Both sides met yesterday afternoon and the latest proposal from the MLB owners to the Players Union was not accepted and the players union called the proposal “unimpressive.” It is now more likely that the work stoppage is eminent, spring training games are scheduled for Feb 26, and are now expected to be cancelled. The league only plans to cancel games a week at a time and still hopes the regular season will start on time.

North Carolina beats FSU 94-74. Caleb Love led the way for the Tar Heels with 18 points and 6 assists and Armando Bacot finished the game with 17 points and 14 rebound double-double.
Georgia Southern cannot handle Coastal Carolina 79-58
North Carolina State lost Pittsburgh 71-69
Miami takes care of Wake Forest 76-72. Alondes Williams had 25 points for the Demon Deacons.
UNC Asheville beat USC Upstate 83-56
North Carolina A & T defeats Longwood 70-62
Duke takes down Boston College 72-61. Paolo Banchero had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds, Wendal Moore finished with 14 points and Trevor Keels had 13 points for Duke.
