Florida Atlantic beats Charlotte 74-69 

Howard defeats North Carolina Central 77-67 

North Carolina-Wilmington wins in Delaware 69-62 

Tulsa playing East Carolina 64-59. Tristen Newton finished with 27 points for the Pirates. 

Campbell falls to Longwood 60-55 

Presbyterian at UNC Asheville 98-96 in overtime 

Radford takes care of North Carolina A & T 62-53 

Duke and Syracuse 97-72. Mark Williams finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds and Paolo Banchero ended the game with 21 points and 9 assists for Duke 

Wake Forest defeats Louisville 99-77 

Virginia Military lost on the road to Western Carolina 82-73

NASCAR This Week: 

NASCAR Cup Series:  The Wise Power 400 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Flag drops at 3:30pm 

Pennzoil 400 is March 6 at the Las Vegas Speedway. Coverage starts at 3:30pm on FOX 

NASCAR Xfinity series Production Alliance 300 had five drivers finish within tenths of a second from each other, but it was won by the #7 Ford, Cole Custer. The #9 Chevy of Noah Gragson finished second and the #18 Toyota of Trevor Bayne finished third. 

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 4 and Thursday, April 7, at 8pm at the Martinsville Speedway in Virginia 


Local Sports:  The Varsity Basketball State Championship: 

The Whiteville Lady Wolfpack traveled to St. Pauls and lost in the third round of the State Championships 61-29. The Lady Wolfpack finished as Waccamaw Conference.
