Rev. Dr. Ernest Milton Flowers, 82, of 2620 Robin Circle, Longwood, NC, died Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at his home.
He was Pastor Emeritus of Open Bible Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Saturday, March 19, at Chesterfield Missionary Baptist Church, 8591 Highway 90, Longs, SC, by Rev. Sam E. Flowers. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Flowers Cemetery in Longwood, NC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Viewing and visitation with the family will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Marie Flowers; daughters, Debra (Harold), Camilla, Carmella, Lisa, Loretta, and Cynthia (Frederick); son, Ernest (Michelle); sisters, Eva Bellamy, Christine Flowers, Rochelle Patterson, and Juanita Smith; brothers, William V. Flowers, Sam E. Flowers, and David A. Flowers.
