As the weather warms up, the Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce has finalized the plans for the Spring Has Sprung Festival. The fun-filled day will kick off at 10 a.m. with a parade on Saturday, April 23 starting beside the 2 Broke Teachers store.

A car, truck, and bike show hosted by Jokerz Mizfitz will be located on West Fifth Street and will extend to Main Street. Craft and food vendors and entertainment will appease the crowds across from Tabor City Fire Department. A free Kid Zone will come complete with a petting zoo, Flimsy the Clown, inflatables and games. Goats, bunnies, and even a sheep or two will be on hand for your children to meet and cuddle.

For those interested in getting in on the festival fun, it’s not too late to sign up. Car show entries can be made by calling 910.377.3012. To enter as a vendor, parade participant, or entertainer, please call Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce office at 910.377.3012 or their cell number at 910.840.0292.
