WNBA:  Britney Griner was detained at a Russian airport and the held by Russian authorities as hash oil was found in her luggage. It was in the form of a vape cartridge. Griner is the last of the American players left in Russia after the United States ordered them home for their own safety. 

NBA:  Hornets are back in action Tuesday as they host the Nets at the Spectrum Center. Tip-off is 7pm 

Last Night:  Spurs lost in Charlotte to the Hornets 123-117. Terry Rozier had 31 points, LaMelo Ball finished with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for Charlotte 

Kings fall to the Mavericks 114-113 

76ers get burnt by the Heat 99-82. James Harden did not play. 

Trail Blazers gets beaten by the Timberwolves 135-121 

Grizzlies take down the Magic 124-96 

Warriors lost to the Lakers 124-116. LeBron James scores 56 points, his most points in a Lakers uniform.

NCAA Men’s Basketball Yesterday:  Davidson gets beaten at Daytona 82-76 

North Carolina State falls to Florida State 89-76 

Charlotte beats Southern Miss 70-67 

East Carolina cannot handle Wichita State 70-62 

North Carolina ruins the home farewell for Coach Mike Krzyzewski and beats Duke 94-81. In Chapel Hill fans flood the streets in celebration as the Tar Heels take home the win in the last home game for Coach K on his farewell tour. North Carolina was led by Armando Bacot who finished the game with 23 points, 7 rebounds and a big block at the end of the game. Caleb Love finished with 22 points and Brady Manek scored a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds for North Carolina. 

UNC Greensboro lost to Samford 66-64 

Today:  Elon at North Carolina-Wilmington 6pm 

NASCAR Cup Series:  The Pennzoil 400 is this afternoon at the Las Vegas Speedway. Coverage starts at 3:30pm on FOX.
