NFL: Tom Brady un-retires and will return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season. Brady says he has “Unfinished business…” . 

The Cleveland Browns release Jarvis Landry to make room under the salary cap. 

Quarterback Mitch Trubiski sighs with the Pittsburgh Steelers 

NBA Last Night: Knicks fall to the Nets 110-107. Kevin Durant scores 53 for the Nets. 

Clippers beat the Pistons 106-102 

The Mavericks lost to the Celtics 95-92. Luka Doncic finished with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for Dallas. Jayson Tatum led Boston with 21 points and 11 rebounds. 

The Magic lost to the 76ers 116-114 in overtime. Joel Embiid finished with 35 points and 16 rebounds. 

Grizzlies defeat the Thunder 125-118. Ja Morant finished with 17 points and 10 assists for Memphis. 

Pacers cannot handle the Hawks 131-128. Trea Young had 47 points for the Hawks. 

Rockets at Pelicans 130-105 

Suns toast the Lakers 140-111. LeBron led the Lakers with 31 points and Devin Booker finished with 30 for the Suns. 

Tonight: Hornets are in Oklahoma to take on the Thunder at 8pm 

Clippers and the Cavaliers 7pm 

76ers host the Nuggets 7:30pm ESPN 

Hawks host the Trail Blazers 7:30pm 

Timberwolves and the Spurs 8pm

NHL Last Night: The Hurricanes lost to the Penguins 4-2. The Penguins only needed 20 shots on Antii Raanta to get their goals. Brett Pesce and Sabastion Aho scored for Carolina. The Hurricanes are back on the ice Thursday in Toronto to face the Maple Leafs at 7pm. 

Maple Leafs lost to the Sabres 5-2 

Blues host the Jets 4-3 in overtime 

Golden Knights lost to the Blue Jackets 6-4 

Flyers fall to the Canadiens 4-3 in overtime  

Predators beat the Wild 6-2 

Ducks lost to the Islanders 4-3 

Flames get blanked by the Avalanche 3-0 

Lightning at the Canucks 2-1 

Kings beat the Panthers 3-2 in a shootout 

Tonight: Senators host the Coyotes at 7:30pm is the only game on the schedule tonight. 

NCAA Men’s Basketball: March Madness begins tomorrow, and the NCAA Championship game will be April 4 in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

NASCAR Cup Series: In the Ruoff Mortgage 500 at Phoenix Raceway, Chase Brisco took home the checkered flag in his number 6 Ford, and his first Cup Series win. Ross Chastain in the number 17 chevy finished second and Tyler Reddick finished third in his number 12 Chevrolet. 

Next up it is the Folds of Honor 500 Sunday at the Atlanta Motor Speedway 3pm on FOX 

NASCAR Xfinity Series The next Xfinity Series race is the Nally Cars 250 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 19 at 5pm on FS1. 

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is back at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 19 at 2:30pm. 

Local: Dixie Youth Baseball registrations are going on right now through April 1, for ages 13-14 at the Whiteville Parks and recreation building. You must bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate when registering. The price is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents. 

T-Ball registration is currently underway through March 18 at the Whiteville Parks and Recreations building. T-Ball is for players 4-6 years old. A birth certificate is required at registration. Your child cannot turn 7 years old during the season and be 4 years old before the season starts. The cost is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents. 

Varsity Boys Baseball: The Whiteville Wolfpack next game is on the road Tuesday versus St. Pauls. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm. You can catch the away game updates on Kool 103.9 FM radio and streaming at www.Kool1039Radio.com
