Robert Leroy Wagner, age 68 of Whiteville passed on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare “Angel House” in Whiteville.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Junior Wagner and Ella Callie Mercer Wagner and two siblings, Carl Wagner and Charles Arthur Wagner (Infant).
A celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn with Reverend David Crumpler officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
Robert was an avid fisherman, UNC Tar Heels fan, and he loved music.
He is survived by two children, Rhonda Ella Wagner and Robert Arthur Wagner; siblings, Patsy W. Simmons (Wayne) of Clarendon, Donnie Wagner (Wanda) of Whiteville, Annie W. Smith of Lake Waccamaw, and Charlene Wagner (Danny) of Chadbourn; two grandchildren, Cynthia Ward and Nathan Ward.
