Jeb disappeared in Lake Waccamaw on May 8, 2022, Mother’s Day.  He was found by emergency personnel on May 11, 2022 which was his 19th birthday.

Jeb was born on May 11, 2003, Mother’s Day, in Whiteville. His Papa was born on May 11, 1958, also Mother’s Day.

He was co-partner with Baldwin Signs & Awnings of Whiteville, founded in 1979, and he specialized in finished carpentry, aluminum metal fabrication, steel welding, electrical sign production and bucket truck onsite service. His hobbies were playing the piano, woodworking and inventing things. He was a genius mechanic.

Jeb was a staunch Christian. He was affiliated with many churches during his lifetime including Pembroke Family Fellowship, Lake Waccamaw Baptist, Grace Bible Church, Hallsboro Baptist, Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness and Cypress Creek Freewill Baptist Church.  Jeb was very active in the AWANA program with Missionary Alliance Church.

Jeb is survived by his Mama & Papa; Scarlet Fontaine Duncan Baldwin and Eric Baldwin, Sisters; Grace Fontaine Baldwin, Rubies Jubilee Baldwin, Morgan Ruth Baldwin and Ginie Dare Baldwin.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Earl and Lila Duncan.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Donald Conway and Rev. Jeff Barton preaching.  Burial will be in the Chadbourn Cemetery beside his Great-Great Grandparents in the Bryan Family Plot.
