Wanda Kaye Thompson Caines, age 61 of Whiteville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Rev. David Crumpler officiating.
She was the daughter of the late Ralph Lewis Thompson and Betty Stevens Thompson.
Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother, leaving to cherish her memory a daughter, LeAnn Lauren Hinson (Jason) of Whiteville and a son, Ethen Howard Hinson (Taylor) of Hallsboro; grandchildren, Farah Hinson and Golson Hinson.
