Freeman Chiropractic introduces new equipment

There’s a new kid in town at Freeman Chiropractic Wellness Center, but it’s not a living, breathing person.

Instead, it’s the state-of-the-art computerized Proadjuster 360.

“I’m very excited for my patients to have this technology that was in part developed by NASA. It is more accurate and a little bit easier on the patient,” said Dr. Regina Freeman.

The machine gives doctors the ability to deliver comfortable, precise adjustments based upon each patient’s individual data. Chiropractic treatment is delivered using a computer while the patient is in a comfortable position, without any sudden movements. The Proadjuster 360 is ideal for newborns as well as older people with osteoporosis.

Treatment areas include the neck, middle and lower back, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, hips, knees, feet, and ankles.

The system first scans the nervous system to check for imbalance or inflammation. All the information it receives is displayed on a screen in front of both the patient and the doctor. The patient remains in a seated position throughout the process.

The Pro-Adjuster 360 then utilizes a precise oscillating force with uninterrupted motion. It is able to increase mobility of the spinal segments by reducing or eliminating the fixations. It uses soft tips, that are comfortable to the human body to exert a tapping force that “unsticks” the joint and makes the adjustment.

From beginning to end, it provides a pretreatment analysis, followed by specifically guided adjustments, and then offers a confirmatory post-treatment analysis.
