Herbert Odell Young passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
The viewing will be held at Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 1-2 pm. Funeral services will follow at the same location.
He is survived by his three children: Herbert Macdell Young (Marlene) of Las Vegas, Katrina Dell Brown (Jermain) of East Arcadia, NC and Vontell Lamont Allen of Whiteville, NC; two bonus children: William Ganey and James Ganey (Cheryl) both of Wilmington, NC; ten grandchildren: Austin Young, Makayla Young, Ryan Young, Isaiah Young, Fe’Shawn Northern II, Wisdom Northern, Kayleigh Tyndall, Sequoia Young, Nyemah McLaurin and William Harrell; two great-grandchildren- Za’lyssa Young and Bentley Young; four siblings: Peggy Patrick of Buckhead, NC, Don Young of Leland, NC, Elsie Brooks (Paul), Jerry W. Young both of Council, NC and a host of other special relatives and friends.
