Mrs. Mary Alice Cutchin 75, of the Union Valley community Whiteville passed on Friday, August 19, 2022 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center, Whiteville. She was born in Columbus County the daughter of the late Glencie Cartrette and Beatrice Benton.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Oscar LeWayne “Wayne” Cutchin; a son, Mardy Cutchin (Cherie) of Fuquay-Varina; a daughter, Pam Cutchin Pridgen (Jeff) of Whiteville; a brother, Morris Cartrette (Kathy) of Whiteville; a sister, Ann Batten (Robert) of Whiteville; grandchildren, Briana Mannion, Braxton Cutchin, Dawson Pridgen; great grandson, Axel Mannion; three step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren, her fur baby, Roxy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willis Cartrette and Ernest Cartrette.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in the Union Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 am Wednesday at Peacock Funeral Home prior to her service.
