Southeastern Community College is bringing back a popular summer program from the 90s for the first time in 25 years. College 4 Kids is a 4-day enrichment camp that allows children from ages 7-12 years to explore and broaden their horizons in different subjects.
Campers will have the option to choose two subjects each morning for a total of eight subjects throughout the week. Options include karate, computers, 911 vehicles, painting, beadwork, agriculture, drones, Native American dance, filming, nursing, animal science, fishing, wildlife, wilderness survival skills, and gaming.
The 4-day camp is $60 for each child to attend, and classes will be from June 26-29 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. For more information, visit the SCC website at https://www.sccnc.edu/2023-summer-at-scc/college-4-kids/. Registration and payment of fees can all be made online.
