Deputies and rescue personnel are in Dothan after a 911 caller reported finding a dead body.
Sheriff Bill Rogers confirmed that law enforcement is searching for the body.
Rescue has been dispatched to assist deputies in the search and recovery.
Update:
Rogers said it took roughly two hours of searching to find the body, which was in a vacant lot off Dothan Road.
“We wanted to be sure the 911 call wasn’t a hoax,” Roger’s said.
A cause of death has not been determined, he said. The medical examiner is en route to the scene.
