A Boardman man was airlifted to an area trauma center after he was shot in an Evergreen-area home early Friday.
The sheriff’s office reported that deputies were called to 2753 Macedonia Church Road at 2:05 a.m. to a report of gunshots. No one was home when deputies arrived, the report said.
A short time later deputies were notified of a gunshot victim at Columbus Regional.
The victim, a 36 year old male, was airlifted and is being treated at another hospital. His condition was not immediately available. The case is under investigation.
