The Wolfpack Optimist Majors dug down deep and defeated rival West Robeson, 4-1, today in Ruston, La., holding their place in the Dixie Youth Div. 1 AAA world series.

There were some worrisome moments Monday as #34 Gram Hunt took a hard shot to the head. He tested negative for a concussion and returned to the game.
