Kenneth West, 76, of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Foster West and Carrie Tyndall West; daughter, Connie West and brother, Alton West.
Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife, Bonnie Cain West of the home; daughter, Nancy Tyndall and husband Jeremy of Clarkton; brother, Robert West of Fayetteville; sister, Virginia Hales and husband Clarence of Bladenboro; grandchildren: Jaden Phillips, McKenzie Phillips, Caleigh Phillips and Maison Tyndall.
Kenneth loved his family and grandchildren and the time spent with each of them. He enjoyed going to the mountains, working on cars, and fishing but only if the fish were biting. When not busy with other activities, you could find him either in his garden or riding the golf cart in his yard. Kenneth’s kind and patient spirit will forever be remembered by all that knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 10th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, October 11th at Sandy Grove Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Reverend Kevin Kinlaw officiating service. Burial will follow in the Storms Cemetery in Bladenboro.
