Carolyn Louise Hamilton Nance, 83, of Chadbourn, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at her home with family by her side.
Carolyn was born on September 13, 1940, in Columbus County, daughter of the late Marion Hugh Hamilton and Annie Bell Todd Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Carlie Nance and her brother, Willard Hamilton.
Funeral service will be conducted ta 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Barton and Mr. Carl “Rusty” Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:45, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The surviving family includes two children, James Nance (Patricia) and Vickie Nance, both of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Patsy Orlak (Albert), Paige Nance, Dana Fipps (Nick); great-grandchildren, Harper Turbeville and Jameson Fipps; siblings, Marvin Hamilton (Betty), Waylon Hamilton (Jennie), Calvin Hamilton (Pam), Gary Hamilton (Sabrina), Mary Dyson, Brenda Blackmon, and Wanda Hinson.
