Mary Etta McLelland Nance, 81, of Cerro Gordo, took her Heavenly flight on Friday, November 24, 2023, while in her home.
Mary was the daughter of the late Joel Livingston McLelland, Sr. and Grace Elizabeth Johnson McLelland, and was also preceded in death by three siblings, Betty Jo McLelland Maxwell, Edward A. McLelland, and Sue McLelland Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Nance Family Cemetery, Cerro Gordo.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mary was a faithful member of Cerro Gordo New Life Methodist Church, where she served in various roles over the years.
Mary leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Eugene Nance, Jr. of the home; a son, Paul Eugene “Gene” Nance, III and his wife, Brandy, of Cerro Gordo; siblings, Linda M. Floyd of Delco, and Joel L. McLelland, Jr. (Ernestine) of Cerro Gordo; four grandchildren: Andrew Nance, Kinley Nance, Paul Nance, and Adalyn Nance.
