Pete Sellers, 77, of the Beaverdam Community in Chadbourn, went home with be with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
Pete was born on December 11, 1945, son of the late James C. Sellers and Maybelle Godwin Sellers. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bob Sellers, Mike Sellers, and Jim Sellers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating; Burial will follow in the Sellers Family Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, at Worthington Funeral Home.
Pete leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Wanda Soles Sellers of the home; children: Patrick “Pat” Sellers and wife, Betty Ann, of Chadbourn, Amy Perritte and husband, Marshall, of Chadbourn, Melissa Hilbourn, of Whiteville; grandchildren: Kayla, Eric, Kammie, Timothy, Olivia, Skye, Dylon, Cody, Ethan, Robert, Johnna, Alexis, Jamie “Jay”; great-grandchildren: Emma, Jaydon, Graydon, Noah, Chevelle, Weston, and Ensley; siblings, Janie Powers of Emerson and Tom Sellers of Chadbourn.
