Dorothy Mae Mack Barbee, 88, of Whiteville, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Stem, NC.
Dorothy was born on June 7, 1935, the daughter of the late John Mack and Hazel Pringle Mack Walker. She was also the widow of Harry Lee Barbee.
A graveside service will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at The Walker Family Cemetery in Whiteville with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Linda Williams of Stem, NC; grandchildren, Charles Munce, Gary Munce, Jr. (Sharon), Misty Munce, Ashley Cheek (Lorenzo), and Wendy Williams; great-grandchildren, Destini Foster, Chelseah Foster, Madyson Cheek, Anthony Cheek, Ashton Cheek, Charles Munce Jr., Marc Munce, Tyler Darnell, Preston Darnell, and Caleb Darnell; and great-great grandchildren, Aaliyah Timberlake, Elijah Davis, Kaiden Tucker, and Alaneigh Tucker.
