Elneta Williams Strickland, 89 of Cerro Gordo, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Born on September 7, 1934, in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Cephus Williams and Smithie Cartrette Williams. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Agnes W. Clewis, Louvenia W. Williamson, and Robert Williams.
Survivors include her Husband, Grady Strickland of the home; two daughters, Donna S. Livingston and her husband, Sid and Susan S. Rogers and her husband, Frank all of Wilmington; siblings, J.C. Williams, and Faye Williams Bryant both of Whiteville; two grandchildren, Ryan Livingston and Matthew Rogers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday on January 10, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Stocks officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of the service.
Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
