Saturday saw an enthusiastic crowd honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in downtown Whiteville.
The annual march, sponsored by the Whiteville Alumni chapter of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, started at Vineland Station and made its way up Madison to the steps of the courthouse. The crowd shared music, prayer and calls for unity between all aces and communities.
