Whiteville Police have made their third unrelated arrest in less than a month on child sex offense charges.
Devon Michael Bishop, 40, was arrested today (Jan. 10). He is being held under $100,000 secured bond, charged with ten counts each of second and third degree sexual exploitation of a minor. His address was listed as 104 S. Thompson St., Whiteville
Warrants show that between July 2023 and January, Bishop allegedly shared and duplicated pornographic images of multiple children estimated to be four to eight years of age. The children were engaged in sexual activity, according to the warrants.
Bishop is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 31.
