Betty Inman Wood age 85, died Monday February 12, 2024, in Pruitt Health, Savannah, GA. Born November 3, 1938 in Sampson County, NC. She was the daughter of the late John Albert Boone and Kathleen Porter Boone.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathren Leigh Kohler (Mark) of Savannah, GA, Chris Inman McPherson (Joey) of Chadbourn, NC, one son, Neil Craig Inman (Carla) of Whiteville, NC. Seven grandchildren; Jennifer Nichole Inman (William), Brittney Danae Kohler (Nate)Ashley Lauren Cobb (Carson), Sunni Gail McPherson, Jessie McPherson Faulk (Zach), Cassie Hadley Giacone (John), Justin Delane McPherson (Karlie), ten great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Ruth Boone of Fredericksburg, TX.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Stephanie Louise Hadley, two brothers, John A. Boone, and Max Boone.
Graveside services will be held Friday February 16, 2024, in Frog Field Cemetery 1500 Roseland Rd Chadbourn, NC 28431.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in Roger McPherson’s Building located at 1500 Roseland Rd. Chadbourn, NC.
