Eva Jane Williamson Britt, 90, of Boardman, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 2, 2024, while in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
Eva Jane was born on August 21, 1933, daughter of the late Mormie Dean Williamson and Viola Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, D.V. Williamson, Elizabeth Williamson, Culbreth “Curt” Williamson, Brannon “Jim” Williamson, Shelton Williamson, and her loving husband of 59 years, William Haynes Britt.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Worthington Funeral Home. Ms. Britt will be laid to rest in the Boardman Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday (one hour prior to service) at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
Eva Jane is survived by her children, William Thomas Britt (Pam) of Sanford, Donnie Haynes Britt (Tammy) of Boardman, James Michael Britt (Shellie) of Chadbourn, Jennie Britt Herring (Monte, preceded), of Cerro Gordo, Sheila Britt Strickland (Boyd) of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Jeremy Britt (Ashli), Donald Britt (Beth), Lance Britt (Nancy), Chadwick Herring (Heather), Courtey Jones (Jason), Jami Britt Noble (Seth), Alex Britt (Kayla), Jason Strickland (Jena), Jonathan Strickland (Tori); 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sue Walters of Lumberton, J.K. “Bud” Williamson of Cerro Gordo.
