Elsie Louise Freeman Alston, 91, of Hallsboro, NC, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at home.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 11, at Mount Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, NC, by Dr. Staccato Powell. Burial will be in the Cutler Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw, NC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Monday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her husband, Willie Ray Alston; sons, Wilton Alston of New York and Maury Alston of Florida; sister, Judy Alston of Wake Forest, NC; brothers, Donald Freeman of Hallsboro, NC and Wells Freeman of Fayetteville, NC.
