Jacoby Charles Merritt, 16-year-old son of Frank and Lakeisha Merritt of Lumberton, NC, died Monday, March 25, 2024, at home.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 29, at Jerusalem Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 6424 Chadbourn Highway, Chadbourn, NC, by Pastor Eric McCollum. Burial will be in the Belvue Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the church Friday following the service.
In addition to his parents, Jacoby is survived by his sister, Aniya Merritt of the home; brother, Brandon Merritt of Greensboro, NC; paternal grandparents, Charles and Patricia Merritt of Chadbourn, NC; maternal grandmother, Vallarie Hill of LaGrange, NC.
