Whiteville Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened at a tire dealer Friday.
An unidentified subject began arguing with Brian Koenig at the New and Used Tire Barn around 2 p.m., the report said. WPD did not specify what the argument entailed.
When the argument turned into a physical confrontation, the report said, the suspect drew a 9mm handgun and fired one shot. No one was injured, and he fled the scene, according to the report.
The incident is under investigation.
