Tabor City firefighter Danny Nobles died in a car crash in Conway, S.C. early Saturday morning.
Nobles, 20, was a passenger in the vehicle, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver was transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. Conway police are investigating.
Nobles was a graduate of South Columbus High School. He was Shield No. 1170 with Tabor City Fire, where he was a dedicated volunteer, according to friends.
Visitation for the firefighter will be at Worthington Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Baptist Church, with internment at Myrtle Green Cemetery.
