Belita Jennette Guyton Green, 77, of Bladenboro, went to be with her Lord on, Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
She was born on July 5, 1946, to the late Howard Taft Guyton and Ruby Lee Edwards Guyton. Belita was preceded in death by three siblings, Annie Merle Sykes, Prentice Lee Guyton and Kenneth Lee Guyton.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James “Jimmy” Dewey Green, Sr. of the home; four children, Belinda Annette Green of Bladenboro, James Dewey Green, Jr. of Shallotte, Rick Green (Angie) of Ocean Isle Beach and Michelle Green (Fred Caulder III) of Bolivia; grandchildren, Destiny Dawn Green, Michelle Dawn Bookout (Andrew), Haley Dawn-Marie Green, Tracy Nicole Brown (Jarrett), Lane Green (Hunter), Jonathan Reese Green and Julianna Rose Green; great-grandchildren, Sarrena Green, Silas Bookout, Sadie Bookout, Jace Green and Layla Marie Brown.
Final rites will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryan Hickman officiating. Interment will follow in the Guyton Family Cemetery near Dublin.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 10:45 am, prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
