Shirley Ann Phipps, 72, of Whiteville, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Shirley was born on October 8, 1951, daughter of the late Lee Phipps and Ruby Ann Treadaway Phipps.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held prior to the service in the chapel from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
The surviving family includes children: Richard Lee Hoyt of Whiteville; siblings, Linda Gail Phipps, Leroy Phipps, Frederick Wayne Phipps, all of Seffner, FL, Dennis James Phipps of Plant City, FL, Thomas Earl Phipps of Seffner, FL, and Treva G. Nickerson (Bobby) of Lynchburg, VA.
