James “Kevin” Hatcher, 74, of Clarkton died on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare in Whiteville.
Kevin was born in New Hanover County on July 14, 1950. He was the son of the late James Harper Hatcher and Mary Catherine Jones Neisler.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Grace of God Church at 11:00 a.m. with Reverand Terry Dove officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel.
He is survived by his children, Penny Meares (Gary) of Clarkton, Jamie Hatcher (Jennifer) of Whiteville, and Crystal Edwards of Clarkton; a sister, Jennifer Hatcher Sykes (Jim) of Little River; grandchildren, Matthew Baldwin, Patrick Baldwin (Hanna), Brandon Hatcher, Kevin Hatcher (Logan), Jeremy Hatcher (Cora), Gage Edwards, and Drake Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Bristol Baldwin, Emma-Leigh Hatcher, and Maddox Hatcher.
