November 24, 1956 ~ July 10, 2024 (age 67)
Mary Frances McCracken McPherson, 67, of the Beaverdam Community of Chadbourn, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Frances was born on November 24, 1956, daughter of the late Willie Bernell McCracken and Mary Lou Emma Holden McCracken. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Emogene Brown, Willa Mae Holmes and Barbara Ann Gasque.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, at the church.
Frances retired from the banking industry, having served in the Commercial Loan Approval Department.
Frances leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles Wayland McPherson; daughters, Kitty Martin of Chadbourn, Crystal Wilkes and her husband, Jeffery, of Lumberton; grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth Harrelson, Dylan Chase Wilkes, Anthony Wayland Wilkes; siblings, Linda Prince of Loris, and Ester Gandy of Conway.
