Dalma Sellers Collins, 83, of Whiteville, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, in Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center.
Dalma was born on May 5, 1941, daughter of the late Alton Odell Sellers and Margaret Allene Long Sellers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hal Boyd Collins; her brother, Larry Delane Sellers, Sr.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
Dalma loved the beach, and she also loved gardening. She worked for 40 plus years as a beautician, having retired in 2004.
The surviving family includes two daughters, Cathy Ward (Edward) of Whiteville, Rhonda Creech (Robert); son, Van Rogers (Amanda) of Whiteville; step-children, Timothy Collins of Ocean Isle Beach, Wendy Caroline Morgan (Todd) of Southerland, VA; siblings, Merle Lightsey (James) of Conway, Faye Etheridge of Old Dock; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
