Rick, as he was lovingly known, was born on November 8, 1957.
A private family service will be held.
The surviving family includes his wife, Tamra Rose Floyd Carter; two children, Amanda Rose Cribb and Ethan Ray Floyd; one granddaughter, Ella Rose Hanner.
