Albert “Coot” Fletcher Proctor, Jr. age 90 of Chadbourn, passed on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Genesis Center in Pembroke.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery, Dr. Tommy Bryson will officiate.
Visitation will be held Wednesday September 11, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel.
He was the son of the late Albert Fletcher Proctor, Sr and Mittie Ward Soles Proctor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by three siblings, Retha Proctor McGirt, Willie Soles and Joe Soles.
He is survived by two sons, Terry Lynn Proctor and his wife, Mischelle of Newport News, Va. and Scott O’Connor of Wilmington; three grandchildren, James Proctor (Jen), Kristy Barnhill (Ronnie) and Heather Emond; and ten great-grandchildren.
